An Irish broadcaster and doctor, Ciara Kelly, has suggested that religion should stay out of medicine. Forgetting religion is made up of people, and Ireland would be devoid of medical facilities like hospitals if not for religious people, and that religious people patronise medicine, it is becoming increasingly obvious we need religious people to defend us from The New Tyranny that Western politics and medicine have become.<\/p>\n

The proposed introduction (already introduced in some countries) of mandatory vaccination is an expression of this New Tyranny, whether or not one agrees with vaccination. Dr Kelly, who also advocates mandatory vaccination, has embarrassingly had to eat her words. After Tweeting that the MMR has zero side-effects, she forgot herself and Tweeted<\/a><\/span> about her son’s violent reaction to the MMR (see also docdroid)<\/span><\/a><\/span>. A further irony here is that Dr Kelly campaigned for terminating the youngest of the human family on grounds such as “choice” and “bodily autonomy”; arguments now considered inconvenient and so are conveniently forgotten, now that pressure is on to introduce mandatory vaccination.<\/p>\n

In a further Tweet<\/span><\/a>, Dr Kelly tried to row back on the MMR reaction by claiming her child was perfectly well “and no probs ever after”; a claim she can’t make as she won’t know the long-term effects of his reaction – such as asthma<\/a><\/span>? And her claim that measles would have killed her child is likewise wild; she doesn’t know what ingredient in the vaccine her child was sensitive to – the measles virus or perhaps, ironically, the aborted foetal tissue used to produce it. Nor can she guarantee her child will never contract measles in the future.<\/p>\n

The hypocrisy of secularists is not lost either in this New Tyranny. When parents send their children to faith schools, they call it “indoctrination”, but when parents inject vaccines into their children, it’s all things wonderful.<\/p>\n

The German state of Brandenburg introduced mandatory vaccination in April 2019, ironically forgetting it was because of Germany that the Nuremberg Code of Human Rights and the Helsinki Declaration governing biomedical research, was introduced. Both bodies insisted upon the right of every patient and every experimental subject to give informed consent to all medical and surgical procedures, and explicitly forbids administering them by force (World Medical Association, Ethical Principles for Medical Research Involving Human Subjects, Helsinki, 1964, amended 2008, par. 24, p. 3). On this point, it’s worth noting that respected legal scholar, Professor John Finnis, has stated<\/a><\/span> that since the Nuremberg Trials, medical ethics has worsened.<\/p>\n

Most people of a mature age will recall the enforced and punitive medication of totalitarian states; from the former Soviet Union to Cuba, and from China to North Korea today. Therefore, it’s appropriate that the Russian Orthodox Church has come to the defence of the defenceless; children targeted for vaccination by agents of this New Tyranny! Mandatory vaccination infringes on one’s personal liberty and their personal integrity;1<\/sup> intimidation (excluded from school), guilt (you cause others to get ill and die), fear (your child could die), threat (you’ll lose your children’s allowance) and bribery (boxes of chocolates for nurses who receive the flu jab, \u20ac100 for your department if you get vaccinated, even though doctors refuse it) are the tools of this New Tyranny.<\/p>\n

As with most state-sponsored campaigns and referendums, a perversion of language is used to ridicule and caricature opponents. Examples are new words like “anti-vaxxers” to demonise them, and who now suffer from a new disease; “vaccine-hesitancy”. With media bias, abuse of power by politicians and Newspeak<\/a><\/span>, we are now veering towards the Soviet Union and its punitive medication. And, speaking of Russia…<\/p>\n

Russian Orthodox Church Opposes Mandatory Vaccination<\/strong><\/h5>\n

The Russian orthodox Church has come to the defence of the defenceless: “Russian Orthodox Church Officially Opposes Compulsory Vaccinations of Children”, reports Russian Faith<\/a><\/span>. The report quotes the Patriarchal Commission as follows:<\/p>\n

The doctor-patient relationship should be based on respect for integrity, free choice, and the dignity of the individual. Man\u2019s manipulation is unacceptable even for the sake of the most good purposes \u201d
\nIn the case of a child, the parents should make their choice in each particular case, taking into account the advice and recommendations of specialists, as well as other information. No one has the right to make this choice for them, even if guided by the child\u2019s own well-informed understanding.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

“The Patriarchal Commission considers that:<\/p>\n

  1. Parents should retain the right to make informed decisions regarding the health of their children, including preventive vaccinations, without being subjected to any pressure. Persecution of parents for the use of this right is unacceptable.<\/li>\n
  2. Parents should not be compelled in any way to state the reasons on which their choices are based. The fact of medical intervention or refusal of it should remain a medical secret protected by law.<\/li>\n
  3. The right of children to education, including the possibility of studying in educational institutions, should not be limited because their parents refused to carry out preventive vaccinations for them, except in cases where there is the occurrence of mass infectious diseases or the immediate threat of epidemics.<\/li>\n
  4. Parents should be able to make their own decisions, independently receiving and evaluating various information, including critical information. Restricting the distribution of critical information affecting vaccine prevention will not lead to increased parental confidence in professionals and the health care system. Such trust will be facilitated only by honest and open provision of parents with complete, verified and reliable information, including information about the risks associated with vaccination or specific vaccinations.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/blockquote>\n

    “In this regard, the Patriarchal Commission on Family, Protection of Motherhood and Childhood cannot support the measures listed earlier.”<\/p>\n

    Vatican Objections to Mandatory Vaccination<\/strong><\/h5>\n

    In 2005, in response to compulsory vaccination at school in Italy, a senior Vatican clergyman wrote a letter in defence of parents’ right to object.
    \nMonsignor Ignacio Barreiro     provided<\/a><\/span> “some quotes from official Church documents which clearly spell out the supremacy of the parental right of conscience in this matter”:<\/p>\n

    \nChrist\u2019s faithful are to strive to secure that in the civil society the laws which regulate the formation of the young, also provide a religious and moral education in the schools that is in accord with the conscience of the parents. (c. 799)<\/p>\n

    Parents have the most grave obligation and the primary right to do all in their power to ensure their children\u2019s physical, social, cultural, moral and religious upbringing. (c.1136)<\/p>\n

    \n\u201cThe parents have been appointed by God Himself as the first and principal educators of their children\u2026their right is completely inalienable\u201d<\/p>\n

    The Catechism of the Catholic Church;<\/em> on Parental Duty and Moral Conscience
    \nThe fecundity of conjugal love cannot be reduced solely to the procreation of children, but must extend to their moral education and their spiritual formation. \u201cThe role of parents in education is of such importance that it is almost impossible to provide an adequate substitute.\u201d The right and the duty of parents to educate their children are primordial and inalienable. (CCC 2221)<\/p>\n

    Man has the right to act in conscience and in freedom so as personally to make moral decisions. He must not be forced to act contrary to his conscience. Nor must he be prevented from acting according to his conscience, especially in religious matters. (CCC 1782)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

    Religion also provides a ground for objecting to some vaccines. In the US, their is a religious right to refuse vaccination, most notably for members of the Jewish faith, though it seems this objection is seldom used.<\/p>\n

    For Catholics and some other Christian churches, the use of aborted foetal tissue used to produce some vaccines is an ethical issue (e.g. see Religious Conscience & Aborted Fetal Vaccines<\/a><\/span>.) In response to this question, the Pontifical Academy for Life spent a long time investigating the matter, resulting in Moral Reflections on Vaccines Prepared From Cells Derived From Aborted Human Foetuses<\/span><\/a>. A list of vaccines developed using aborted cell lines can be viewed here<\/a><\/span>.<\/p>\n

    By claiming it was only two aborted foetuses used for producing vaccines is merely an attempt at mitigation, and by claiming that it was back in the 1960s is an attempt at further mitigation; something Pope Francis has been accused of<\/a><\/span>.2<\/sup> But this is a huge deception (in 2015, for example, Walvax-2<\/a><\/span> was produced by Chinese scientists using aborted foetal tissue), according to Debi Vinnedge, founder of COGforlife.org<\/span><\/a>, who explains:<\/p>\n

    This may be the biggest lie ever told to the American public and the world at large. Not only have there been hundreds of abortions directly involved with vaccine research \u2013 specifically for that purpose where they altered abortion methods to obtain intact fetal organs<\/span><\/a>\u00a0,<\/em><\/strong> but we are now seeing more and more abortions for fetal research and new cell lines emerging for viral vaccine cultivation.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/article>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n

    At least one scientist, Theresa Deisher, founder and Lead Scientist at Sound Choice Pharmaceutical Institute, has serious concerns about the health risks of vaccines which are “heavily contaminated with human fetal DNA from the production process,” as she explained in an open letter to the industry<\/a><\/span>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/article>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
