He spoke eloquently but, keen to\u00a0smear their genuine\u00a0concerns,\u00a0he naively suggested\u00a0T.D.s defending the girls were simply paranoid about Big Pharma just wanting to make profits\u00b9. Of course drug companies want to make profits; as publicly quoted companies their first priority is to their share holders. Reality tells us otherwise. For starters, <span style=\"color: #008000;\"><a style=\"color: #008000;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.google.ie\/search?q=gsk+test+vaccines+in+argentina+without+consent&amp;gws_rd=cr&amp;ei=zg2XVfqhKpGy7QbUs7zgAg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">GSK Fined Over Illegal Vaccine Experiments Killing 14 Babies<\/a><\/span>\u00a0and <a style=\"color: #333333;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.mayohomeopathy.ie\/index.php\/tag\/glaxosmithkline\/\"><span style=\"color: #008000;\">here<\/span><\/a>.\u00a0Varadkar throws in the red herring of Andrew Wakefield and his MMR controversy. Coincidentally, just this week, it was revealed the nuns running an orphanage in Cork were<\/span> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.irishcentral.com\/news\/Irish-nuns-claim-investigators-ordered-2013-destroy-child-vaccine-files.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"color: #008000;\">told by the Commission to Inquire into Child Abuse (CICA)<\/span><\/a>\u00a0<span style=\"color: #333333;\">to dump files relating to vaccine experiments at the orphanage.\u00a0It wouldn&#8217;t be the first time drug companies exploited orphans and kids with special needs for vaccine experiments in Ireland,\u00a0as has been documented. Remember, this is the guy who, only last year, called for an enquiry into apparent corruption at Bus Eireann!<\/span><\/p>\n<h5 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #333333;\">Reactions Happen<\/span><\/strong><\/h5>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\">Perhaps he assumes there&#8217;s no such thing as bad reactions and if you listened to the interview with a genito-urinary physician discussing Gardasil on Newstalk with Pat Kenny (<span style=\"color: #008000;\"><a style=\"color: #008000;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.newstalk.com\/listen_back\/13240\/23697\/14th_December_2015_-_The_Pat_Kenny_Show_Part_2\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">December 14th, approximately a quarter way through<\/a><\/span>) this week &#8211; you&#8217;d think anything is allowed in the name of science. &#8220;Ah, but it saves lives.&#8221; It&#8217;s not out long enough yet to make such a claim but approximately sixty die from cancer of the uterus yearly\u00a0and not all had a prior infection with HPV (which is never acknowledged), so the vaccine would not have been of benefit to them. Yet we now have 131 seriously ill from the jab! Since advocates of the vaccine like to play the numbers game: &#8220;the benefits outweigh the risks,&#8221; as the mantra goes, then they should consider the real numbers and the real people behind the numbers. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\">There are 131 Gardasil\u00a0victims according to the discussion on TV3 on Monday night, but that figure now has to be revised &#8211; upwards &#8211; according to the<\/span> <span style=\"color: #008000;\"><a style=\"color: #008000;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.independent.ie\/irish-news\/health\/another-18-girls-claim-adverse-reactions-to-the-hpv-vaccine-34282433.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Irish Independent<\/a><\/span>. <span style=\"color: #333333;\">Many more personal accounts can be <span style=\"color: #008000;\"><a style=\"color: #008000;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.vaccineriskawareness.com\/Gardasil-Vaccines-Continued\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">read here<\/a><\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\">Of course drugs have adverse reactions, especially those injected straight into the bloodstream. (&#8220;Even milk injected into the bloodstream is toxic,&#8221; according to The Alchemy of Healing by\u00a0<span style=\"color: #008000;\"><a style=\"color: #008000;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.minervabooks.co.uk\/index.php?route=product\/product&amp;manufacturer_id=17&amp;product_id=21\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Dr Edward Whitmont<\/a><\/span>!) Felicitously, <em>The Guardian<\/em> has just published an apt\u00a0article;<\/span> <span style=\"color: #008000;\"><a style=\"color: #008000;\" href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/8CeQgoEtgi\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Adverse drug reactions cost NHS \u00a32bn<\/a><\/span>.<\/p>\n<h5 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #333333;\">End of BCG\u00a0and &#8220;unnecessary side-effects&#8221;<\/span><\/strong><\/h5>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\">But maybe vaccines are different? They &#8220;save lives,&#8221;\u00a0goes the emotive, guilt-inducing catchcry. It&#8217;s even been claimed by the vaccine lobby that drug companies lose money on vaccines! Well, again ironically, last week HIQA, Irelands health information and quality authority,<\/span> <span style=\"color: #008000;\"><a style=\"color: #008000;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.hiqa.ie\/publications\/health-technology-assessment-selective-bcg-vaccination-programme\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">suggested an end to the BCG<\/a><\/span>\u00a0<span style=\"color: #333333;\">programme (TB vaccine). One benefit would be\u00a0the avoidance of\u00a0&#8220;unnecessary side-effects,&#8221; says the report.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\">&#8220;Side-effects&#8221;! What side-effects and why the delay in telling us? Again, quite timely, experts on TB and the BCG vaccine met in India to announce <span style=\"color: #008000;\"><a style=\"color: #008000;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.newindianexpress.com\/states\/andhra_pradesh\/Ineffective-BCG-Vaccine-Behind-TB-Cases-Says-Expert\/2015\/11\/28\/article3150824.ece\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Ineffective BCG Vaccine Behind TB Cases<\/a><\/span>. <span style=\"color: #008000;\"><a style=\"color: #008000;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.nccs.res.in\/index.php\/TeamMembersC\/scmande\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Dr Shekhar Mande<\/a><\/span> has more experience than most on the subject. He\u00a0heads the<\/span> <span style=\"color: #008000;\"><a style=\"color: #008000;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.nccs.res.in\/index.php\/Aboutnccs\/Nccsdetail\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">National Centre for Cell Science<\/a><\/span>, Pune, India.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\">Another defence by unthinking, defensive advocates of a drug\u00a0&#8211; who almost always have a financial, emotional or professional interest in it\u00b2\u00a0&#8211; is that there is no evidence, forgetting that &#8220;absence of evidence is not evidence of absence.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<h5 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #333333;\">Comment and Questions<\/span><\/strong><\/h5>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\">Returning to Pat Kenny&#8217;s discussion on Gardasil\u00a0above, it&#8217;s reasonable to ask if a genito-urinary physician is qualified to comment on a generalised, constitutional reaction when his specialty\u00a0is in a localised area of the body? After all, the Japanese ceased giving the HPV vaccine in 2013<\/span>: <span style=\"color: #008000;\"><a style=\"color: #008000;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.medscape.com\/viewarticle\/806645\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">&#8220;The focus of the Japanese inquiry is not on injection-site reactions; instead, it is on systemic reactions.&#8221;<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\">Is the vaccine the only prevention? And what about investigating a possible reason the HPV virus becomes a problem? By presenting as warty excrescences on the skin,\u00a0conventional treatment is superficial and harmful: the removal of the growth but this never removes\u00a0the virus which causes the growths. Since the growth on the skin is the body&#8217;s way of dealing with the infection, removing the outer expression of the infection only without\u00a0removing the virus, means the virus will either be thrown back onto the skin if the body is healthy enough to do so, or it will remain latent to do more harm. This dynamic is often seen when one has warts which they burn off, only for the warts to return. Removing the outer symptoms only is suppressive and we always pay a price for suppression.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\">Advocates dismiss the connection between the vaccine and the awful <span style=\"color: #008000;\"><a style=\"color: #008000;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.oxforddictionaries.com\/definition\/english\/sequela?q=sequelae\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">sequelae<\/a><\/span> as being a\u00a0&#8220;coincidence.&#8221; However, there have been such reactions within 30 seconds of the vaccine being administered, as occurred at one school in Manchester, U.K. Coincidence? And where is the proof of such coincidence? That&#8217;s an assumption, not science.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\">Isn&#8217;t it strange all reactions to every vaccine\u00a0are identical: swelling at the site, itchy rash..? They never seem to mention constitutional symptoms in such discussions.<\/span><\/p>\n<div style=\"width: 254px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/upload.wikimedia.org\/wikipedia\/commons\/5\/5d\/Ostriches-head-in-sand2.jpg\" alt=\"Leo Veradkar, Fine Gael ignore Gardasil reactions\" width=\"244\" height=\"164\" \/><p class=\"wp-caption-text\"><span style=\"color: #333333;\">Burying heads in the sand<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\">Gardasil only lasts for eight years and only covers eight strains of the vaccine, we learn from the discussion.\u00a0<span style=\"color: #008000;\"><a style=\"color: #008000;\" href=\"http:\/\/stdclinics.ie\/dr-derek-freedman\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Dr Derek Freedman<\/a><\/span> (who has a\u00a0financial interest in running a private STD\u00a0clinic)\u00a0claims it also\u00a0provides a &#8220;cross-over&#8221; protection\u00a0against other strains.\u00a0Strangely, the flu jab doesn&#8217;t do\u00a0likewise\u00a0&#8211; which would make\u00a0the annual\u00a0flu jab\u00a0unnecessary&#8230;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\">In the meantime, let&#8217;s just bury our heads in the sand.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\"><strong>Further Information<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/span><span style=\"color: #008000;\"><span style=\"color: #333333;\">Research trials should use placebo, a harmless substance, to compare it with the medicinal substance.
